October 2017 Outing

Well the month of October is quickly slipping by and our monthly club outing is getting closer and closer. As I recall from the October club meeting we discussed doing some Light-painting of Vintage Cars at Brian Pillage’s property. I contacted Brian about a week ago to ask if he would be interested in hosting our club again to capture some images of him and his antique Autos and he was very receptive to the idea. I suggested that, if possible, we could set up 2 separate areas with a car or truck as to avoid having too many of us gathered around 1 vehicle. Edmonton Photographic Trade Show

A head’s up for Club members looking for something to do on an autumn/winter Sunday.  McBain Camera is hosting another photographic trade show on November 5th at the Butterdome in Edmonton.  These events have varied in the past but this one looks like it might be a good one.  Sometimes there are good deals to be had, there are booths with vendors and suppliers so you can get a hands-on feel for some gear that you might not otherwise see or feel and it looks like they are running some lectures also.  More information by clicking here: Edmonton Photographic Trade Show.
