Work from Last Outing

At the last meeting, we talked about putting together a composite image for Gloria as a thank-you for her letting us take pictures at her place.  I think we had enough strong images to make this work.  We should have a good representation from all those present.  Can everyone send me an image (or two or three) that you would like considered for inclusion in this project.  Processed and full resolution would be best.  If you are having problems processing to your satisfaction, include the original file also.  Images can be sent by email to me...

Photos Needed – 2015 Visitor’s Guide...

The Galloway Station Museum will begin production on the upcoming 2015 Edson & Area Visitor Guide. Once again, Shari McDowell of the Galloway Station Museum, is looking for photo submissions to fill the guide. She’d like to extend her thanks to everyone who provided the excellent photos for the 2014 guide, and hopes to include even more photos from our club’s membership. The Visitor Guide is a not-for-profit guide distributed to hundreds of visitors and residents to Edson and area. Distributed free of charge, it’s production costs are covered by the advertising within. It’s a very high-quality book published on gloss paper. Last year’s guide weighed in at almost 50 pages, and highlighted Edson’s many venues, attractions,...

Monthly Meeting Tomorrow Night

Just a friendly reminder that our monthly meeting will be tomorrow night at the Century 21 Office.  Start time is 7:30pm but come early if you want to shoot the breeze about things photographic.  Bring some images to share with the group – especially ones from the last outing.  We will do some review of image processing for these nighttime images to help members out in that regard.  Please also look at the contest images I listed in this post – still need to identify a couple of photographers please: click here.   Hope to see everyone out tomorrow...
