SMASH His Camera!

During the last EPC meeting, Lana, as part of her ‘Portrait Presentation’, mentioned the infamous ‘Paparazzi’. To different people, this means different things and different connotations. Perhaps the best and worst representation of this concept is a photographer by the name of Ron Galella. Ron is arguably one of the godfathers of American paparazzi. How a Face Changes with Light

Thanks to Lana for a quick introduction to lighting portraits this past EPC meeting. Some good solid information that should wet the appetite for new and seasoned photographers alike. A good find with the reference material. It’s important to understand how light modifiers effect your portrait. As Lana pointed out, everything from your exposure, to colour, to the angle cab used can dramatically change the tone and feeling of your portrait. This reminded me of a video I recently saw.
